Addo Elephant Park Full Day

Addo Elephant Park is a sprawling, incredibly diverse wildlife sanctuary located in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Originally established in 1931 to protect a highly endangered population of just eleven elephants, it has grown into a monumental conservation success story. Today, it ranks as the country’s third-largest national park and is famously home to a thriving population of over 600 elephants that roam freely across its striking landscapes. The park is uniquely vast, stretching all the way from the rugged Zuurberg Mountains down to the coastal dunes and islands of Algoa Bay, encompassing five completely distinct ecological biomes along the way.

The full day includes a professional guide, park entrance fees, a traditional South African braai lunch with vegetarian and vegan options, and a mini bar with refreshments plus light snacks. The suggested itinerary is pick up around 7:25 from your accommodation, enter the park around 8:00 with your guide introducing local wildlife and history while you search for elephants, lions, buffalo, and more. Then, a braai lunch around 12:30, continue the safari in the afternoon, refreshments around 4:30, and depart the park around 5:30, with drop off around 6:30.
